Dr. Elizabeth Alt is a board-certified Family Medicine physician dedicated to providing safe, informed, and evidence-based menopause care. She believes menopause care is an essential and often overlooked aspect of women’s health and is passionate about helping women make confident, well-informed decisions about their bodies and treatment options. Dr. Alt views telemedicine as a powerful tool for expanding access to high-quality menopause care for women nationwide.

Dr. Alt joined Winona in 2025 and brings a strong background in primary and urgent care to her menopause-focused practice. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where she developed a population-health perspective that informs her patient-centered approach to care.

Her clinical philosophy emphasizes education, shared decision-making, and individualized treatment plans, ensuring that each patient understands her symptoms and available options so she can choose what best supports her long-term health and well-being. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Alt enjoys spending time with her family and her two children.
